Beetroot Thoran

Ingredients:
Beetroot- 1 cup(chopped)
Oil- 2tsp
Salt
Masala
Coconut- 1/2 cup
Green chilli- 2
Pearl onion- 4-5 nos
Garlic- 3-4 pods
Curry leaves
Tempering:
Mustard- 1tsp
Urdu dhal- 1 tsp
Channa dhal- 1 tsp
Jeera- 1 tsp
Curry leaves
Method:
* Grind the masala ingredients.
* Heat the pan with oil, crackle the mustard seeds & saute the channa dhal & urdu dhal
* Saute the onion ,green chillies, & curry leaves
* Add the chopped Beetroot & grind-ed masala with few scoops of water
* Boil till the Beetroot get cooked well, & stir till the water get dries up
* It’s Ready “Beetroot Thoran” yummy with sambar/ dhal rice..
For Tempering–> Jeera, channa dhal, urdu dhal, mustard
Grind the masala coconut, onion, garlic, green chilli, jeera & curry leaves
Grind-ed masala, chopped beetroot, onion, curry leaves
 Heat the pan with oil, crackle the mustard seeds & saute the channa dhal & urdu dhal
Saute the onion ,green chillies, & curry leaves
 Add the chopped Beetroot 
Add the grind-ed masala
Mix it well
Add some water & cook till the beetroot get cooked well, & stir till the water get dries up
