Poondu kulambu (Garlic curry)

Ingredients:

Garlic- 10-15
Onion- 1/2 chopped
Tomato- 1 chopped
Curry leaves
Oil
Mustard
Salt
Vatha kulambu mix – 2 tsp (Secret ingredient)/ tamarind paste- 2 tsp
Masala
Garlic- 6- 8 pods
Pearl onion- 4-5
Jeera- 1tsp
Pepper- 1 tsp
Grated coconut- 1/2 cup
kulambu masala powder- 2 tsp
Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
Curry leaves
Method:
* Lets start with the masala, Separately fry Pepper & jeera keep aside, then fry the onion & garlic 
* Put some oil over the pan, add the grated coconut, add kulambu masala powder, turmeric powder, curry leaves
* Make it cool & grind to a smooth paste
* Im using pressure cooker, just for saving time…. Heat the pressure cooker with oil, crackle the mustard seed, saute the onion, curry leaves, garlic, for few mins & add the tomato, 
* When tomato get cooked add the grind-ed paste, vatha kulambu mix, 1 cup water & salt
* Pressure it for 2 whistle…
* Mouth watering “Poondu kulambu”…
Grated coconut, onion, garlic, curry leaves, turmeric powder, kulambu masala powder, pepper, jeera
Fry Pepper & jeera
Fry onion & garlic
Heat the pan with oil, add the grated coconut, add kulambu masala powder, turmeric powder, curry leaves
fry well till this color get
Make a fine smooth paste
Garlic, onion, vatha kulambu mix/ tamarind paste, tomato, curry leaves
Heat the pressure pan with oil & splutter the mustard
Saute the onion
Fry the Garlic for few mins
Add the tomato
Add the grind-ed paste, curry leaves, vatha kulambu mix/tamarind paste, water & salt
“Poondu kulambu”
