Home made Butter is so delicious for cooking and baking cakes, cookies…. it’s not an simple process.. have to wait for long time( 10-15 days) with more patience… this butter can be used to prepare clarified butter(Ghee) this can be the best part of many deserts, Snacks, Yummly biryani and varieties, 
you need to boil the Milk in low flame , make it cool(Do not cover up till they are cool), refrigerate the milk, when ever you want to take out the milk slowly pull out the cream layer with spoon and take out the milk… You need to repeat this for 10- 15 days or till your tin get filled.. 

Boil the milk in low flame … make them cool with out cover the top… store them in refrigerator

Not to worry… per day 2-3 tsp cream you’ll get depend on the milk will have the good result

store the cream in a air tight container.. You need to repeat this for 10- 15 days or till your tin get filled


Here is my cream I’ve collected this for 2 weeks
Now take the Collected cream in wide vessel an add some ice cold water beat the with whisk/ electric hand blender… mixer also used to do this… usually i’ll beat them in a bottle.. take an air tight bottle fill half the bottle with collected cream and add some cold water shake them continuously for 10 -15 mins  stage by stage you’ll see the color and texture change…

finally the butter will roll in top… It’s the time to take out the butter…

Take clear water in another bowl wash the butter balls for 2 times

  • We used to do this at home. I love your idea of shaking in a bottle – would be less messy. Can't do it here as we just buy skimmed milk. But I really love making butter and ghee from scratch 🙂
