Ghee Roast/ paper Roast Dosa
BM#27 week1 Day6 we are in Month Long marathon….
Today it’s a special south Indian Dosa… Yummy crispy breakfast… Here the Batter preparation is same for Idli, Dosa, Utthapams… this batter is the base for many breakfast dishes….
Urdu dhal- 1 cup
Idli Rice/Boiled Rice- 4 cups
Methi- 1 tsp
Ghee- 1/2 cup
* Soak the Urdu dhal and methi together for 3 hours… and separately soak the rice for 3 hours..(If u in urgent no way 1 hour soaking is hardly enough)
* Grind the Dhal and methi to a smooth mix by adding water little by little… (correct consistency is when dip your finger in water and dip your wet hand in the dhal batter it should stick in hand) Hardly grind the mix for 25-30 mins
* Grind the Soaked Rice to a smooth paste..
Mix both the grinded dhal and rice batter, add 1tsp of salt and beat well with your hands…(in this step the heat form your hand will help to mak ethe batter ferment easily), cover them up and ferment it for 10 hour or till the batter raise..
Here it’s raised after 10 hours… just take a bowl of batter out… and store the fermented batter in refrigerator in a Air tight container
Here the bowl of batter add 1/2 cup of water and dilute them
Heat the tawa in high flame.. check by sprinkling some water over tawa it’ll splutter over… Pour a ladle of batter over the tawa and spread evenly… sprinkle the sides and top them with ghee… do in medium flame
Here it’s done
Flip them and cook for 2 mins
