Raw banana podimas

It’s for BM#27 Week 2 Day 3..Under Traditional Theme.. my mom often used to do this…
Raw banana podimas is a best combo with sambar or vathakulambu.. Easy instant Recipe.. hardly it take 5 mins to prepare this easy koottu . Banana is the plant which every part used for cooking… It takes very less time to cook…. As the Raw banana is gastric i used crushed Garlic and Ginger….
Ingredients
Raw Banana- 1
Onion- 1 chopped
Ginger & garlic crushed- 2 tsp
Green chilli-2
Coconut- 1/2 cup
Salt
Oil- 2 tsp
Tempering
Mustard- 1 tsp
Channna dhal 1 tsp
Urad dhal- 1 tsp
Jeera- 1 tsp
Red chilli- 1 nos
Curry leaves
Here is the ingredients
Steam the banana
Peel them and mash it
Heat the oil and add the tempering items
Saute the onion
Add in the Ginger Garlic and green chillies
Add the mashed banana and mix them well
Add the coconut
it’s done

Perfect pdimas for Sambar and rasam.
I like this idea of steaming the bananas. I usually pressure cook for a whistle and end up with mashed bananas :(. Will try steaming next time…
