Aloo paratha

Aloo paratha is a type of stuffed Indian Bread.. This week i chose the Indian bread theme… here took the challenge of trying some North Indian Bread…
This rich stuffed roti taste heavenly with plain curd… this is for BM#28 Week 2 day 2
Recipe Source- Manjula’s kitchen
Ingredients:
Dough
Atta- 1 cup
Salt
Water- to knead the dough
Oil- 2 tsp
For stuffing:
Potato- 1/4 kg
Turmeric-1/4 tsp
Graham masala- 1/2 tsp
Chicken masala- 1/2 tsp
Oil
Salt
Onion- 1/2
Cumin seeds-1/2 tsp
Fennel seeds- 1/2 seeds
Green chilli- 1 tsp
Ginger Garlic paste- 1 tsp
Mash the boiled potato with turmeric powder, graham masala, chicken masala and salt
Heat the kadai with oil splutter the jeera, fennel and fry the green chillie
Saute the onion for few mins
Add the mashed potato masala and ginger garlic paste
Fry them
Knead the attta with salt, water and oil… keep them wrap for 30mins take a lemon size ball of atta and roll them out
Keep a spoon full of masala in the center
Make another roti in same diameter and place over it
Carefully roll them over
Put them in hot tawa
Apply some oil and it’ll rise up
Flip them over to the next side
Apply some oil and repeatedly flip them and cook till they are golden brown in both the sides
Here its done
Serve with your fav side dish here we had the paratha with Panner curry and curd..

Aloo parathas naturally are yummy and filling.Never came across chicken Marsala version though. 🙂
These are always a fav. I never tried stuffing in between two chapatis. I should say it would be very filling.
That's quite interesting to use chicken masala..must have tasted very different..
The spice list is quite elaborate, but surely very interesting, though I would not use chicken masala, I would give this version a try.
