Moth bean curry- Sindhi Recipe

This post is for BM#28 Week 3 Day 1, Moth bean is the other name for green gram, it’s an simple yummy side dish for roti….
The substitution of oil to ghee enhance very good flavor in curry…

Recipe Source-Sindhi Rasio
Preparation time- 10 mins
Cooking Time- 30 mins
Serves-  3

Moth bean/Green gram-  1 cup
Ghee- 2 tsp
Jeera- 1/2 tsp
Fennel-1/2 tsp
Onion- 1
Ginger Garlic paste- 1 tsp

Chilli powder- 1 tsp
Coriander powder- 1 tsp
Turmeric powder- 1/4 tsp
Graham masala- 1/2 tsp

Soak the bean for 2 hours and pressure cook it for 2 whistles
Heat the kadai with ghee
Fry the fennel and jerra seeds
Saute the onion and add the ginger garlic paste
Add the tomato and cook till they mash
Add all the spice powders one by one with salt
Add the cooked bean and put some water boil it for few mins

Can be served with Roti..
