Palak Kichadi

Palak kichadi… Recently i got this nutri packed rich dish… Every one in home, loved this kichadi… 
this rice can be make stun the kids of its lovely color also the palak blended with kichadi, dhal rise up the taste can be served with hot ghee, and kichadi… papadas, Potato fries, are the best side dish for this kichadi…

Ingredients:
Rice- 1 cup
Thoor dhal- 1/2 cup
Palak- 3 cups cleaned
Garlic- 3-4 pods
Green chillie- 1-2
Ghee- 3 tsp

Tempering:
Oil/Ghee-
1 tsp
Hing-1/2
tsp
Garlic-
2-3 pods

Jeera-
½ tsp

Preparation:
·       
Soak
the dhal and rice for 10 mins and boil it with salt & hing for 3-4 whistles
I used 3 cups water for 1 cup rice and ½ cup dhal

·       
Clean
& roughly chop the palak
Heat
the Pressure pan with oil and fry the garlic and green chillie, then add the
palak and cook it for 2-3 mins and add ½ cup of water to it.. cook till the
water dries up
Make
it cool and grind it to a smooth paste
Mix
the paste with the cooked rice and dhal… mix evenly 

Temper
it with Jeera, garlic and hing…Yummy
it’s ready….
