Baby Corn Manchurian

Trying Manchurian in different content is quite interesting… this time with Baby corn, That was yummy… before i think of Baby corn, my mind will not move towards to this… clearly its a new main ingredient in my kitchen…. last week shopping without any choice i have to pick this pack of baby corn????

In most of the Manchurian recipes i traced the adding of ajinomotta,  i never prefer taste ingredient that is not so good for health, i didn’t use it.. if you want to add , then add some in Gravy preparation time…
Also if you are a non vegetarian and prefer the taste of egg crispness then add 1egg white in preparing the batter part..

Preparation time- 30 mins
Cooking Time- 30 mins
Serves- 2-3

Baby corn- 1 pack
Oil- for frying

For Battter:
All purpose flour(Maida)- 1/2 cup
Corn flour- 1/4 cup
Pepper- 1/2 tsp
Salt- to taste
Ginger Garlic paste- 1 tsp

For Gravy:
Oil- 2 tsp
Onion- 1/2 finely chopped
Green chillie- 1 tsp finely chopped
Capsicum- 1/2 cubed
Ginger Garlic paste- 1 tsp
Onion Leeks- 1 nos
Soya sauce- 1 tsp
Chillie Sauce- 1 tsp
Tomato Sauce- 3-4 tsp


* Grab the ingredients….:)

* Wash, Clean the Baby Corns with out any fiber

*  In a mixing bowl Add the Maida, Corn flour, Pepper, Salt, Ginger Garlic paste.. make a thick paste of this

*Chop the baby corn to 1 inch pcs, add them to the prepared batter keep them aside to marinate it for 15 mins

*Heat the kadai with oil using a spoon scoop the baby corn mix and drop in to hot oil.. cook on medium flame.

* Cook till they are Golden Brown Color

* Heat the kadai with oil, Saute the onion till translucent, add the Ginger Garlic paste

* Add the Capsicum cubes fry them for 3-4 mins..

* Add the Soya Sauce, Green Chillie Sauce and Tomato Sauce

* Give them a good mix and add the Baby Corn Fritters..

* Mix them well with Gravy and Top with Onion Leeks

Perfect Side Dish for Veg Pulav, Veg Biryani, Veg Fried Rice….
