Black Channa Sundal
Again back with simple elegant tea time snack.. Most of my friend are hardly preparing for Navarathiri celebration… Black channa is easy to make and tastes really nice as a snack or side dish in a main meal… the channa is an excellent source of protein.. this Black channa Sundal is named as kondai kadalai sundal.. tastes yumm to munch more and more… 
Have you ever tasted this sundal with a cup of tea/black tea/coffee… hummm thats a heaven….
Ingredients:
Black channa dhal- 3/4 cup
Salt
Tempering:
Oil- 2 tsp
Mustard- 1/2 tsp
Urad dhal- 1/2 tsp
Onion- 2 tsp chopped
Red chillie – 1 torned in to pieces
Curry leaves- 1 spring
Coconut- 2 tsp grated
Method:
* Wash and soak the Channa dhal for 6 hours or soak it for overnight
* Pressure the soaked Channa with some salt for 2 whistles..
* Heat the Kadai with oil, Pop up the mustard and urad dhal, add in the onion, red chillie and curry leaves
* Add the boiled channa and cook till the water dries up…
* Once the water dries up, off the stove and add the coconut…
