Halwa one of the best word to pull jess towards dining table.. he loves all kind of sweet, special love for Halwa.. never says no in any time.. Love for desserts never goes down, i usually make carrot halwa often, this time.. i have 8 beetroots lying quietly in my vegetable box..

When ever Joe back form Vegetable shop, there will be a beetroot for sure in the bag.. he’ll tell i choose the fresh veggies, and my prior for beetroots for not much, very rare i make poriyal with this vegetable, since this had a sweet taste and some root smell.. one of my neighbor explained the beet juice. she told it was yum with some spices want to taste the juice once.. i tried lot and lot type of poriyal with this veggie.. i always push the thought of making beetroot recipes.. when i saw the 8 beetroots together, shocked and was stunned at the moment what to do with these.. the one which doesn’t like much???? honestly i encourage myself and google for different recipes.. here i adapted this halwa form my previous carrot halwa recipe.. this taste yum.. only 3 ingredients which makes the taste like heaven.. and few more beetroot feast is waiting for you guys.. this Halwa is a simple yet tasty one.. even i didn’t believe my eyes.. the whole box of halwa vanished with in 2 hours.. happy know.. what else want more..Now with the Healthy tasty yummy halwa.. Recipe Cuisine:Indian  |  Recipe Category:Dessert
Prep Time: 10 mins    |  Cook time: 30-40 mins    |  Serves: 4-5

Ingredients

Beetroot 2 nos
Milk 2 cups
Condensed Milk 1/2 tin
Ghee 2-3 tsp

Method


 1. Wash and peel the beetroots, Grate them and set aside, How heat a kadai with ghee.. add in the grated beetroots, And saute this for 5-8 mins in medium flame till the raw small moves and you might found some color changes in the beets..

 2. Now add in the milk and allow this to boil and cook well, Recommended to put the flame in low medium, cook till the  milk reduce in quantity.. don’t worry we are making halwa.. let the milk the reduce..

 3. Add in the the condensed milk and mix them well, the halwa get losses in the consistency because of sugary nature..

 4. Cook till the shrinks well, add in the generous amount of ghee and cook till the mixture comes out together like a mass and which stick out from the pan..

Notes

    • Adding more milk give more taste and yum, but it take more time to cook.. 
    • Desi ghee is the best for flavor and taste..
    • Adjust the condensed milk according to your taste..
