Sathumavu Ladoo/சத்து மாவு லட்டு


Ladoos attract the kids, cute round shape is the attraction for kids.. i have few more ladoo recipes in my page, always kids special recipes have warm welcome here, very easy to prepare and if you have kids in home it vanish asap you serve them.. best for kids snack box too.. a single ladoo carry lot of nutritious health benefit, If you have home made health mix powder, then you can use instead of manna health mix or any other readymade powders.. Try this and let me know your experience too..

Ingredients
Manna Health Mix Powder | 1cup/ 150 gms |
Powdered Jaggery | 1/2 cup |
Ghee | 1/4 cup or 5-6 tsp |
Cashew Nuts | 1 tsp |
Raisins | 1 tsp |
Method
1. Manna Health mix, recent guest in our kitchen.
2. Take a cup of Health mix powder and powdered jaggery in a Mixing bowl or in a plate..
3. Heat a pan with Ghee, let melt in medium flame..
4. Fry the Cashew nuts, make sure the flame in medium flame..
5. Fry the raisins too, once done off the flame..
6. Add the Melted ghee, fried cashew nuts, raisins to the bowl..
7. Mix them well with a spoon, have to quick in this stage.
8. Shape them into ladoo as soon as possible, before it cools.. once the content get cool you can’t shape them..
Notes
- Can add 1/4 cup of grated coconuts for a variation.
- Substitue jaggery with powdered sugar, or palm jaggery.
- Can add more nuts and dry fruits like badam, dates too.
