
Malvani Fish Fry/Fish Rava Fry.. I Marked this recipe more than a year ago.. finally got a time to taste this in my kitchen.. This crispy out fish fry is totally damn soft inside and make your craving to finish the plate soon..
Earlier, when i was newly married i don’t even touch the raw fish in my hands, i operate like a doctor, wearing a gloves in hands and i clean the fish pieces, that too without knowing i do this and that to make them ready, and in my First trimester, i was craved for seafood like anything.. only i can relish while going hometown, and here Joe used to take me for a Coastal restaurant..
while seeing the rate should faint their.. such a price they had for a normal fish curry.. and with a strong mind and no other way to survive after delivery i learnt Fish curry form mom.. and finally i upgraded my knowledge in cooking seafoods by Sanjeev kapok’s seafood book.. coming to the recipe.. this one is like I tasted the same Malvani fish fry in Coastal restaurant.. after my seafood practice in home, planned a lot to prepare this, finally i make this out.. hope this post will help you guys to know the recipe.. Fish Rava Fry/Malvani Fish Fry
Prep Time: 1 hour | Cook time: 10 mins | Serves: 3-4
Ingredients
Fish | 250 gms |
Rava/Sooji | 1/4 cup |
Oil | 1/2 cup |
Rice Flour | 2 tsp |
Salt | a pinch |
Ingredients to Marinate
Chillie Powder | 1 tsp |
Coriander Powder | 1 tsp |
Turmeric Powder | 1/4 tsp |
Garam masala(optional) | 1/2 tsp |
Ginger Garlic Paste | 1 tsp |
Lime juice | 1 tsp |
Salt | as needed |
Method










Notes
- Can add 1/4 tsp of chillies powder in the Rava mix .
- Adjust the taste in the marinating masala..
- keep the flame in medium high to reduce the oil absorption..
