Drumstick Flower Egg Fry, Quite new dish to me.. Heard this recipe form my grandma and Mom, they used to tell the recipe while the Drumstick tree blooms.. Every Time the Flower Bloom on the tree, some good amount of flowers will fall.. That my mom and Grandma, used to chit chat the stories of the flower, how tasty it will be..
But they won’t pluck the flowers to cook this recipe.. occasionally i in case of tree gets broke or in some essential need if it fall in a bunch they prepare this dish.. here my Maid get a big bunch of flower, and i remembered my Grandma’s words, and simply in a blank idea give a try and the taste is really good, very similar taste to Plain Egg burji.. This is my “Day 28 of B365″
Drumstick Flower Fry

Prep Time: 1o mins | Cook time: 15-20 mins | Serves: 2
Drumstick Flower, Clean, Wash, Drain the water and keep aside..
Heat a pan with oil, Temper with mustard, Jeera, Urad dhal.. Let them pop..
Add in the Chopped onion and fry till they turn translucent..
Add Green Chilies and Curry Leaves..
Add in the Crushed Garlic..
And add in the Drumstick flowers and Fry them..Sprinkle salt and cook..
Cover and cook them for 5-8 mins.. no need to add water.. there itself u can get enough water to cook the Flowers..
Once the Flowers get shrieked, Add in the Cracked egg and stir them well..
Stir them well and put the flame to high medium, cover and cook the pan.. cook till the Eggs get done..
Here is the Fry, Egg and drumstick flowers cooked well to combine together..
