Chicken Chops, Very Popular Recipe of Our Native, This must the chief guest of all other dishes.. i Love the Combo with Roti, Hotness of the Chicken is to the core.. Simple recipe, but serves great with meals..
I slow cook this recipe for the exact taste.. if you want to do this in a jiffy then go for pressure cooker cooking.. since i slow cook this dish, the flavours from garlic to curry leaves are very unique all around the taste buds, you can feel the smell and taste separately.. This can be available in all the Hotels in our place(Sivakasi), we can see every corner of the town will have a small scale hotels, this is a must dish in all Non veg Hotels.. If we late for Lunch or dinner, then they serve only the Gravy part.. that chops taste is like a Deadly combo with Biryani/Paroota. |Ginger Garlic paste/Crushed
Ingredients to Dry Roast and Grind
Dry Roast the Coriander Seeds, Red Chilly, Pepper, And Jeera
Make them cook and Grind in a mixer..
I used my grater make tomato puree.. removed all the tomato skin ( i add those tomato skin, while preparing rasam)
Freshly crushed GInger Garlic and And a handfull of onion which are chopped..
Heat a pan with gingerly oil, Add the crushed ginger and garlic, fry this for a min..
Add in the Handful of Chopped onion.. saute till they turns soft..
Add a generous amount of curry leaves.
Followed by Toamto puree
Cook till the Tomato Puree Separates oil..
And add in the Cleaned Chicken, give a good mix and cook for 2-3 mins..
Here you with the Grounded masala, Turmeric powder and Graham masala..
And again add some more curry leaves..
Mix them well, add salt too. cook this in medium flame for 4-5 mins..
And add 1/2 cup of water.. Cover and cook the Chicken..
Cook this in high flame for 5-8 mins..
Once you get the desired consistency, switch off the flame.. and garnish with Coriander leaves..
- I Make this dish as a Semi dry Dish..
- And adjust the spice level.. if you want to add more hotness, then add some more chilly powder..
- Can pressure cook the same for 2 whistles..
- if you don’t like to add more curry leaves then skip the part.. i normally use more curry leaves for Non Veg Cooking..
