Methi Thepla


Methi Thepla, First time we tried this in home, here we usually go with roti… once in a while we prepare different paratha or any other kind of indian bread.. Thepla’s are rich healthy one..
This Thepla is packed with few grains, taste of this roti is not simple, i serve this roti with spinach curry, my Mom loves this new roti, she always invite new taste to make the platter better.. When i browse for this recipe found this as Gujarati Breakfast, so this is completely a Gujarati dish. Theplas can be made of any kind of combination like molli Thepla, Vegetable Thepla, Aslo not even the multi grain needed, only wheat flour hard enough to serve a great dish, this can be serve at any time of the day…Day 53 of B365

Ingredients
Wheat Flour | 1 cup |
Besan Flour | 1/4 cup |
Perl millet Flour/Bajra Flour | 1/4 cup |
Turmeric | 1/4 tsp |
Red chilly powder | 1/2 tsp |
Fenugreek Leaves/Methi Leaves | 1 cup |
Coriander Pwoder | 1/2 tsp |
Salt | to taste |
Yougurt | 2-3 tsp |
Oil | for Roasting |
Method
Wash clean and chop the Fenugreek leaves, and set aide..
Take Wheat Flour, Bajra Flour, Besan flour in a mixing bowl..
Add the Chopped methi leaves, Red chilly powder, Coriander powder, turmeric powder(If you like jeera flavour, then add 1/4 tsp of jeera powder), Salt.
Add the curd, sprinkle some water and knead a soft dough..
Grease you palm and roll them into lemon sized balls..
Roll the thepla, using a rolling pin..
Transfer the thepla’s into the hot tawa..
Drizzle some oil and cook both the sides. .
Roast he thepla’s.. cook both the sides evenly..
