SuraiKaai Morru Kulambu


Suraikaai Mooru Kulambu, This is such a comfort curry for all time, specially in summer.. Buttermilk are too good to consume in summer time, nowadays after summer also many places having high temperature..
Suraikaai/Bottle gourd is a water sacked vegetable, you know how to reduce weight? use Bottler Gourd in your diet, atleast 3-4 times in a week, how ever it goes, bottle gourd soup, bottle gourd dhal curry, bottle gourd curry, so many recipes are there with bottler gourd we love this simple comfort vegetable..its been a long time i drafted this post, now though i thought of sharing this here, hope this post helps you guys.. Ingredients
Bottle Gourd | 1 cup chopped |
Turmeric | 1/4 tsp |
Salt | to taste |
Curd | 1 cup |
Oil | 1 tsp |
Mustard | 1/2 tsp |
Onion | 2-3 tsp chopped |
Red Chilly | 2 nos |
Curry Leaves | 1 spring |
Ingredients to grind
Coconut | 1/4 cup |
Jeera | 1/2 tsp |
Ginger | 1″ |
Coriander Seeds | 1/2 tsp |
Method
Take the ingredients to grind in a mixer and find them finely by adding some water

Take the chopped bottled gourds and water in pot, add salt and turmeric, cook this for 5-8 mins..

once the bottleogurd get cooked, add the grounded masala and allow this boil, to remove the raw smell.. once the raw smell moves ,switch of the flame..

Beat the curd, give a good mix, check for salt and adjust in it..

Heat a pan with oil temper with mustard,Onion, Red Chilly and curry leaves, add this tadka to the curry, serve this spicy vegetable fry..
