Bangalore, November 14th, 2016: Britannia NutriChoice Essentials in partnership with The Diabetic Food Trail hosted the Britannia NutriChoice Essentials Diabetic Masterclass yesterday that provided city’s food lovers with a preview to easy Diabetes management, while enjoying healthy food without compromising on taste. This was the last leg in the series of the Masterclasses being conducted as a run-up to the World Diabetes Day on 14th November 2016.
Diabetes is posing a serious lifestyle challenge needing immediate attention and this initiative is committed to building awareness for diabetes prevention, management and making healthy yet tasty food choices. The core of Britannia’s philosophy is “Eat Healthy, Think Better” and taking this proposition forward we were the frontrunners in making biscuits with different grains, such as Oats, Ragi, and Multi-grain etc. The insights we received after speaking to many diabetics, caregivers, doctors, nutritionists, is that there were not enough food options for the diabetic population. This is why, we have invested into products such as Britannia NutriChoice Essentials, and are partnering with initiatives such as the Diabetic Food Trail. It’s a small step in the direction of making India more diabetic friendly.
The Britannia NutriChoice Essentials Masterclass enabled diabetics to recognize the importance ofeating nutritious and well-balanced meals with a regular fitness routine for effective diabetes management, besides learning to read packaging labels and ingredient’s nutritional values through an interactive session with a renowned nutritionist Geeta G.H. , there were present Chef Jinnendra from Smally’s, Bangalore who crafted No Bake Muesli Cheesecake with NutriChoice Essentials Oats Cookies, Twisted Ragi Choco Cake with NutriChoice Essentials Ragi Cookies, and Celebrity Chef Irfan Pabaney from Sassy Spoon, Mumbai who made Curried Quinoa salad, roasted pumpkin and brown rice risotto and Chef Tamil from Anjappar, Bangalore, who made Drumstick Soup and Bitter Gourd Poondu Kulambu. They weaved their culinary expertise into crafting mouth-watering yet healthy food options spanning in the insightful Masterclass. This was aimed at busting the myth that diabetic food is bland and boring, audience was informed of each recipe’s caloric & nutritional value including that of the dessert.

Diabetic a common word which heard from every family, Mainly Why this happen? Which affects the System to fall in this common disease, I was invited to attend a Event “Diabetic Food Trial” Coordinated By Seema, founder of “Semora”.. Most of my friends, having an back history of diabetic. Even i too having a sad story behind the screen, nowadays its been a hereditary one. When Seema told ‘Our vision is to see a healthy diabetic friendly menu served in every restaurants in India, so people with diabetes can make an informed choice about what to eat’.
I’m having a hereditary history of Diabetic in our family, so I’m very cautious in choosing food after my pregnancy, and our generation have the chance to trace this diabetic in early 30’s.. Nutria Choice Essentials are doing a wonderful part with this awareness, There Ragi cookies and Oat cookies are the best one, when they gave a intro about this super hero of the Event “Don’t have Nutrichoice as a Substitute food” Just have a one or two when in need.
I love shooting this Nutri Choice Pack.. and when i get the invite i was very excited to take a part, this is my first Event participation, i was there before time, and everyone around me are very new to me, not only my First Event, my first time where I’m going without Joe, was really nervous and excited what they will do, and what and all going to happen there, and “Seema” sh welcomed me with her warm smile, she comforts me with her lovely words, and unfortunately i miss the Fiternity and Diabetic Dessert Trail..
Here i saw these ingredients which are neatly arranged for the demo session.. Each and every thing are good for diabetic ingredients.. Having a balanced meal with timely intake can keep away form this diabetic.
How many of you know intake of ghee is good for digestion, diabetic patients can have 1/2 tsp of ghee/ butter a day..

They conducted these event for two day s in Bangalore, first day with “Fitness” title they did yoga, gym, and foodies got an wonderful opportunity, and Followed by “Diabetic Dessert Trail”..
