Tomato soup is a healthy and popular drink prepared by using fresh tomatoes. Soups are a real bounty recipe for home chef’s. Nowadays soup mix are ready available in market, which you need to mix them with some water boil and serve those instant soup with super easy steps.
Instant soup’s they will be too good in taste, kids are highly attracted to those addictive taste, but where is the healthy part? I clearly decided to avoid processed food from markets. this healthy version of Tomato soup is very attractive in colour, when coming to the taste, this soups was too good with homemade flavours.. Soups are served in hotels before the meals that helps to limit the intake of food quantity, so this method of using tomatoes will help for dieting. I was very happy with the colour and the taste. Tomato soup

Prep Time: 0 mins | Cook time: 20 mins | Serves: 2

Ingredients

Olive Oil/Vegetable Oil 2-3 tsp
Ginger 1″
Carrot 1 small
Tomato(ripped) 2 large
Pepper Powder 2 tsp
Sea Salt to taste
Jeera 1/2 tsp
Coriander Leaves 2-3 springs
Bread 2-3 slices

 

Method

Heat a pan with a teaspoon of oil, Add the sliced ginger

Add in the Peel and chopped carrots to the pan

Followed by roughly chopped Tomatoes, salt and pepper to the pan, salute for few minutes in medium flame.

Add a cup of water and allow the tomatoes and carrot to cook for 8-10 minutes

Simmer the water, allow this mixture to cool and ground to a smooth paste in a mixer

In the mean time heat a pan/tawa, i used the pan itself to taste the breads, remove the sides of the bread and toast those breads by drizzling some oil..

Heat a teaspoon of oil in the pan, temper with Jeera

Add in the washed and chopped coriander leaves

Add the grounded Tomato mix to the pan.. Boil this for few mins in medium low flame to desired consistency, adjust salt and pepper if needed

Serve the Soup with Toasted bread pieces..

Notes

  •  Used ripped tomatoes.
  •  Can use Wheat bread for the toast.
  • Adjust the taste by adding pepper or salt in the soup
  • If needed add a piece of beetroot while sautéing the vegetables.
