My mom and Grandma use gooseberry in lot of recipes, but in modern age convincing those recipes with kids is a tough deal. During summer holidays Jess always roam around the home for new snacks, to engage him i added Gooseberry with Sarbth, this technique works with Jess, he couldn’t find the hidden Gooseberry, What else need for a Blogger Mom? Im double happy with this recipe, and i wish to share this juice for our “Beat the Heat” Series, But i was occupied with so many works and i can’t post in summer, though gooseberry is still in market, finally this post in live. Today this is a most important day in my blogging journey, we uplifted the site to WordPress, it took few days to set back my site settings.

Ingredients


 

Gooseberry 4-5 nos
Lemon 1/2
Nanari Sarbath 2-3 tsp
Cold Water 2 cups
Honey/Sugar 1-2 tsp(optional)

Method

Deseed the Gooseberry and put them in blender.

Grind Coarsely without adding water, if you water here, gooseberry will not grind properly.

Now add some water grind again.

Strain the Gooseberry juice in a strainer to remove any excess residual

Add two cups of water and squeeze the

Add Nanari sarbath to the Gooseberry juice, mix them properly, add sugar/honey if needed.

Squeeze half a lime to the juice, Serve the juice in a serving glass with some ice cubes

Notes

    • Use Fresh lemon and Gooseberry for Good taste.
    • Add sugar/honey only if needed, i used enough nanari sarbath to taste.
