Haryana Mixed Dhal is a delicious curry, Recently i tried this appetising dhal. A Simple and comfort for the all the age group. Highly nutrition with the combination of dhal.
For the April month our “shhh cooking secretly” challenge team choose Haryana cuisines and I was paired with Shailaja writer of “Sahasravantalu page“ she gave me two interesting ingredients to try this toothsome curry. I got Channa dhal and tomatoes as my secret ingredients.
Indian cuisine has a wide variety of regional and traditional cuisines. Haryana has a healthy combination ingredients, Bajra, Rice, Whole wheat flour and a variety of lentils, pluses, besan flour are the most used traditional ingredients. They are popular in using dairy products too. So I choose the lentils for my recipe.
April month was hectic with vacation and travel, so it took 2-3 days delay to write my post. I prepared Coccinia grandis(ivy gourd) fry to pair, it was an absolute combination to give a try. Hope this post helps you know about this simple recipe.
