Now i started preparing Thayir sadham in millets also , the same method suits for Samai arisi, Kuthiraivali arisi too.. There is lot of variation in curd rice, can play without plan in Curd rice by adding Fruits, Salad vegetables, Adding some snacks like pakoras, Sev, Vadai.. What ever it may, a single lick of pickle for curd rice is not comparable one.. Nowadays in restaurants too they started listing millet recipes in their menu, One among the list i found was millet curd rice..Nowadays i store some containers for Millets, millets are a common one in my pantry like Dhal and masala.. Slowly started to add this in regular diet, Like reducing some rice part and compensate with anyone of the millet
Varagu Thayir Sadham/Kodo Millet Curd Rice

|Varagu arisi/Kodo Millet||1 cup|
|Urad dhal||1/4 tsp|
|Channa dhal||1/4 tsp|
|Red chili||2 nos|
|Curry Leaves||1 spring|
|Ginger||1/2 tsp grated|
1. Take a cup of varagu arisi/Kodo millet, wash and clean take this in a pressure with 3 cups of water and salt…
- You can add more cucumber pieces, pomegranate too..
- Adding ginger gives more flavor and taste..
- Same preparation suits for all samai, Kuthirai valli too..
