 Goat Brain Fry/Aatu moolai varuval, this is very close in taste with Egg burji, very creamy and rich side dish for roti..im not a big fan of this dish..but prepare this for my family.. seriously i never touch this before marriage, MIL prepare lot of varieties in nonveg, this is also a perfect dish which i learnt from her..

Recently one of viewer request for Kudal fry, when i talking with mom, she told first go from easy dishes then think to go for a tough dish.. so this time when i saw brain pack, grab it to my basket without thinking the preparation. this preparation is similar to Mutton chukka, And the taste is very close and similar to Egg burji.. and best dish for kids from 1.5+ age, Add this to your kids diet they love it.. Goat Brain Fry

Goat Brain 150 gms
Gingely Oil 3 tsp
Mustard 1/2 tsp
Jeera 1 tsp
Fennel Seeds/Perujeeragam 1/2 tsp
Sambar Onion 1/4 cup 
Ginger Garlic Paste 1/2 tsp
Red Chillie 2 nos 
Curry Leaves 1 spring
Chillie Powder 1/2 tsp
Coriander Powdr 1/2 tsp
Turmeric Powder 1/4 tsp
Graham masala 1/2 tsp
Pepper Powder 1/2 tsp
Salt as needed



 1. This how The Goat brain Looks.. Wash the Brain and Chop them Into bit size pieces, It won’t be in a shape to cut pieces, manage to cut..

 2. Here is the Rest all ingredients, Heat a quad with oil, Splutter the mustard, jeera, fennel seeds..
 3. Add in the chopped onion and Fry till the turns pink color, Add in the Red chili and curry leaves..
 4. Add int he Ginger garlic paste and fry for few mins, and add in the  brain and cover it with a lid for 3-4 mins.
 5. Add in Chilli powder,Coriander powder, Graham masala, Pepper powder, Turmeric powder, salt and mix them.. no need to add water, mix the masala and let them cook in the oil itself.. with in 5-6 mins all done..  serve it hot with roti or rice..


    • Wash the Brain before you chop.. once you wash after chopping the brain, you should handle very carefully.. 
    • No need to add water to cook the brain, it took very less time to cook..
    • Adding Gingely oil gives more taste..
    • Adding sambar onion/Pearl onion is the best for good taste..If you want to increase the quantity, then add more onion..
