Sankara Meen Varuval/Sankara Fish Fry, Fish fry always taste good in all kind of vacation, i love this new flavour.. i have tried few varieties of fish fry, and already i shared few recipes in my page too..

Sankara fish, Earlier i won’t like this fish as much, the bones in snakara fish are little hard and should carefully eat this fish cos of this bones.. but the taste of this fish is unique in taste, this fish looks red in color, there is some other variety in market which is similar to sankara, that won’t taste good.. check before buying.. Fry the fish in medium high flame to avoid oil consuming.. hope  this post will helps you.. see you all in next easy recipe.. Day 49 of B365

Sankara Fish Fry

Sankara Fish 500 gms
Pearl Onion 5-6 nos
Garlic 6-8 pods
Fennel Seeds/Perunjeera 1 tsp
Jeera Seeds 1 tsp
Pepper 1/2 tsp
Red Chilly Powder 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder 1/4 tsp
Salt to taste
Lemon Juice 1 tsp
Oil 1/2 cup



Clean the Fish in running water 
Slit them and set them aside..
Take Onion, garlic, Jeera, Fennel seeds and pepper in a mixer
Sprinkle some water rand grind them.. 
Take chilly powder, Turmeric powder, Salt in a mixing owl.. 
Add the lime juice
Followed by grounded masala.. 
Mix them well, i use a spoon to mix them masala.. 
Spread the masala over the fish, mainly over the slits.. 
Here is my well masala spreader fish, keep them aside for marination, marinate for 2 hours.
Heat a pan with oil, Drop the marinates fish into the hot oil.. wait for few mins, flip them carefully and cook both the sides.. 
Here is the other side of the fish, which is done perfectly. Take them out and keep on the Kitchen towel..
