Wheat Flour Dates Cake


 Wheat Dates Cake, I can’t believe the day i bake this Cake, The Whole batch vanish with in a hour, anyways there is a warm welcome for a healthy recipe in home.. thats the difference between home made food and store bought one..
Here i used Maida to reduce the wheat flour smell.. this soft moist cake is really a super bite with a cup of hot tea or Coffee.
The sweetness of the cake can be adjusted with the sugar, as here i used dates this recipe had enough sweet in taste… baking a healthy recipe makes you to feel a healthy breath, i felt the same, while i force to attempt a healthy recipe in my Kitchen.. Dates cake is the most requested recipe from my readers, some asked for eggless, No butter,.. Here i tried the first attempt with Dates, to feed my kid with a healthily bite, this one is No butter cake, if you want, then substitute the oil with butter, and clearly I’m planning for a eggless session, soon will treat you all with eggless baking recipes. Wheat Flour Dates Cake

Ingredients

Wheat Flour 3/4 cup
Maida/APF 1/2 cup
Egg 2 nos
Dates 1/2 cup
Sugar 3/4 cup
Oil/Butter 1/2 cup
Vanilla Essence 1 tsp
Baking Powder 1/2 tsp
Baking Soda 1/2 tsp
Milk 1/4 cup

 

Method

De-seed the dates, chop them, set aside 
 
Crack the Eggs in a mixing bowl, start beating them
 
 
Beat the Eggs till they foam up, add in the sugar again beat them.. 
 
 
Once the sugar melted add in the oil( i used sunflower oil here) and beat them well.. 
 
 
Add in the Vanilla Essence 
 
 
Followed by Add in the milk.. mix them well.. 
 
 
Add in the Chopped dates to the mixing bowl and beat them up.. 
 
 
Sieve the APF, Wheat flour, Baking Powder and Baking Soda to the Wet mix.. 
 
 
Slowly fold the Flour into the wet mix.. 
 
 
Fold the batter without any clumps.
 
 
Grease the Baking pan, transfer the Batter to the mould, put them into the preheated oven and bake this for 25-30 mins, or bake till they done.. 
 

Notes

    • If you want a most healthy version then skip the maida, i add some maida to reduce the Wheat smell.. 
    • Also can add Dry fruits of any of your choice..
