Ragi Pidi Kozhukattai

 Ragi Pidi Kozhukattai, A healthy festival recipe is here to treat you all.. Ragi/Finger millet is too good for breakfast, this is a diabetic friendly Recipe.. Ragi kozhukattai is such a each one to prepare, not at all a big deal..

All you need to knead a perfect dough, if the dough is sticky then add few more teaspoons of flour, if the dough is hard, then add some drops of water to knead, that’s it the super formula.. can add some cardamom powder or Dry Ginger powder for flavour.. and this is my 65th continuous recipe..

Ragi Pidi Kozhukattai

Ragi Flour 1 cup
Moon dhal 2 tsp
Coconut  1/4 cup
Jaggery 1/2 cup
Ghee 1 tsp



Take Ragi flour in a bowl, Dry roast the moong dhal and add the roasted moong dhal to the ragi flour.
Add in the fresh grated coconut
Take the jaggery in a pan, add some water(1/2 cup of water) and melt them..
Strain the jaggery water to the ragi flour..
Mix them well and knead using a spoon, as the jaggery syrup is hot, i used  a spoon to mix them, add in the ghee and knead the dough.
 Shape them out and stem in a idli steamer for 10-15 mins.. Serve them along along with a cup of tea or coffee.
