Custard Cookies, Have you heard about mouth melting cookies, when i tasted this for the first bite i completely melted.. who ever taste this cookie they can’t believe the fact, does a home made cookie taste this good???

Custard Powder is always a magical ingredient in my kitchen  i hope most of you use it like this only.. when i browsed some good cookie in Vah chef’s page i got this cookie,There he showed a egg version of custard cookies,  i clearly followed his instruction in this recipe, but i tried this without eggs, this crispy buttery vanilla flavored cookie taste best than anything.. And the December month had start all in the plan for christmas… make a good batch of this cookie and surprise your family.. very less time consuming cookie with great taste.. Here all the cookie vanished in a hour.. Here you go and do try and let me know how it turned for you..

Prep Time: 10 mins    |  Cook time: 10-12 mins    |  Temperature: 180C


APF/Maida 1/2 cup
Custard Powder 1/4 cup
Sugar 1/4 cup
Butter 1/2 cup
Baking Powder 1/4 tsp
Baking Soda a pinch
Milk 1 tsp


 1. Take the sugar in  a blender powder it finely.. Preheat the oven for 5 mins @ 180C

 2. Take the butter, make sure its in room temperature, otherwise microwave the butter for 10 seconds.. don’t melt the butter, Add in the powdered sugar and beat them well to a creamy texture..

 3. Sieve the custard powder, APF, Baking soda, Baking Powder to the Bowl, use a spoon to mix or use your fingers to mix them..

 4. Add only a tsp of milk to the mix and knead the dough lightly..

  5. Make even sized Balls, roll them in sugar crystal..

  6. Flat the cookies slightly using a fork.. bake this in preheated oven for 10 mins @180 C

    • All the ingredients should in Room Temperature..
    • If you take the butter just out from the refrigerator, microwave it for 10-20 sec, make sure not to melt the butter..
    • Rolling the cookie dough in sugar and baking is your choice..
