Gooseberry Thokku/Nellikaai Thokku, form regular Gooseberry pickle this those is quite different in taste.. Indian Gooseberries are the best one to add in regular diet.. Very first time when i tried this thokku we are flat to this finger licking thokku..
Few months back, one of my Aunt shared this recipe in Fb, as she mentioned this is such a tasty one. Normally gooseberries are consumed as juice or pickles. This thokku is a different variation, spiciness tanginess of gooseberry blends to create a different taste here. - You can use the steamed water in some curries.
- instead of steaming the gooseberry you can boil in water too, i skipped it and steamed the gooseberry for its nutritious value..
- Can refrigerate this for a week to 10 days..
