Whipped Cream Frosting Cake/Marble cake

Today is a special day here, its Joe’s birthday.. i know I’m very late to write this post.. the whole day was damn out with power cut.. this was s sudden plan to arrange the cake.. for a long time i was thinking to upgrade the baking skill, on my last purchase i saw the whipped cream powder in the market.. that was the inspiration to try this cake..
And the cake was really super duper, its was a kind of pudding range, not so soft as pillowy or airy one.. totally love this cake, and the full cake was vanished with in few hours.. and for a change i tried zebra cake, and frosted with whipped cream..nothing other than special recipes for his birthday, for lunch i prepared mutton Gravy with Butterbeans Kootu for hot steamed white rice.. this post was little lengthy, and the preparing syrup is optional, i did here to change the taste.. thats why my cake turned out pudding kind of taste.. and try this and let me know how it turned it for you.. 59th post of B365

Whipped Cream Forsting Cake

Prep Time: 2 hours | Cook time: 30-40 mins | Serves: 4


APF/Maida 1 cup
Egg 3 nos
Butter/Oil 1/2 cup
Cocoa Powder 1/2 cup
Sugar 3/4 cup
Milk 1/2 cup
Baking Powder 1/2 tsp
Baking Soda 1/4 tsp
Vanilla Extract 1 tsp
Chocolate 1 bar for topping


Ingredients for whipped cream

Whipped Cream Powder 1 packet(100 gms)
Cold Water 90 ml(as mentioned in the pack)


Ingredients for syrup(Optional)

Water 1/2 cup
Honey 2 tsp
Chocolate Syrup 2 tsp



Crack the Egg in a mixing bowl, in the mean time preheat the oven for 10 mins @ 180 C
Beat the Egg using a beater, beat thill they fluff up..
Add in the Oil.
Add in the milk.. Again beat the mix for 2-3 mins..
Add in the Sugar and beat them well..
Now add a dash of vanilla extract and beat again..
Sieve the APF/Maida, Baking powder, Baking soda in the mixing bowl.
Fold the batter gently, without form any clumps..
Transfer 3/4 of the batter to the greased, lined baking pan..
Now sieve the cocoa powder into the 1/4th batter
Mix them well..
Add the cocoa mix to the pan.
Give a good swirl using a spoon or spatula..
Bake the cake for 30-40 mins, or till they done insert a tooth pick and check its done or not..
Cool the cake..
Keep the mixing blade, mixing bowl, in refrigerator for 1 hour, here is the ingredients for whipped Cream.


Take 90 ml of cold water in the mixing bowl, Open the whipped cream powder..
Add the powder to the cold water(i did as shown in the packet)
Start whipping in high..
Beat them well, till they fluff, as mentioned in the packet , i beat in high for 3-5 mins..
Here i found the sniff peak..
Keep the cake and whipped cream in the refrigerator for 30 mins..
Here is the well formed whipped cream..
Take a water in a bowl, add honey to it..
Add in the chocolate syrup.. bring this to boil for 2-3 mins..
Here it’s done..
Remove the top crust and slit the cake evenly..
Place the butter paper around the cake.. Wet the cake using the syrup..
Top the whipped cream and spread over the cake..
Now again place the another piece of cake, and again drop the whipped cream..
Spread all over the cake, try to spread evenly..
Shave the chocolate using a peeler
Use a teaspoon to spread the chocolate shaving over the cake.. again refrigerate till they serve..
